April 23, 2015 - Lester Chambers (The Chambers Brothers) and his all star band The Mud Stompers performed at the Art House Gallery & Cultural Center in Berkeley.

The Mud Stompers are a spiritually-guided group of professional musicians, Lester Chambers, David Aguilar, Kenneth Roy Berry, Baron Chase, Marcia Migét and Kenny "Mo" Susan. Will Scarlett was called up by Lester Chambers on their rendition of this Jimmy Reed number.

The Mud Stompers and Stomping Mud Records are the brainchild of Lester Chambers (The Chambers Brothers), a two-time Music Hall of Famer.

This show was a benefit for Paul Geremia and Johnny Harper

 

Sometimes the tides of fortune run in our favor. And sometimes the rip currents pull us out into treacherous waters. Everybody hits a little hard luck sometimes. A star-studded group of Bay Area acoustic blues musicians teamed with

the Freight to help two beloved bluesmen, Paul Geremia and Juke Joint Johnny Harper,

both of whom have been battling serious health challenges in recent months. A great show!
